Sharon Prince Adds Another Space With Carrie Mae Weems At Grace Farms

Carrie Mae Weems is an accomplished American artist with several accolades to her title. She has been able to create a space through her art to tackle issues in the society such as race, violence, inequality and injustice.

Through her performance of Past Tense, Carrie Mae Weems sensitized the public on the value of life and the end of violence. She invested in space of hope for a sustainable future where we live in harmony with each other.

Through president and CEO at Grace Farms, Sharon Prince, Carrie Mae Weems was incorporated into the foundation. It is through Weems strong stance on dark themes in the society which align with the work for Grace Farms in human and wildlife trafficking.

Sharon Prince disclosed that through Carrie’s long-term dedication on recurrent subjects such as violence, abusing power and sexism fall under the core initiatives which are supported by Sharon Prince Grace Farms. Through the collaboration, Sharon Prince hopes to add a new perspective in the foundation’s mission in creating peace and grace across the world.

Grace Farms was developed to bring into perspective a new type of public space aimed at advancing the good in the world. Open six days in a week; Sharon Prince Grace Farms is free to the open public. It began its operations in 2015, and over the years it has built a reputation as a revolutionizing space.

It is open to individuals from diverse backgrounds who engage in conversations which revolve around the five initiatives of the foundation in participating in community events and enhancing the nature preserves at Grace Farms.

Sharon Prince previously served Nepal’s Next Generation board, which was a charity organization dedicated to reconciling child exploitation victims with their loved ones. She is the 2017 recipient of the NOMI Network’s Abolitionist Award before getting the Auburn Seminary’s Lives of Commitment Award.
