The now infamous Deflate Gate case that took over the media a week ago has been mocked on television by programs such as Saturday Night Live, in which they made a mockery of head coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady, who appeared to be lying when they gave their interview regarding allegations that they cheated in the AFC championship game against the Indianapolis Colts. The allegations state that they purposely deflated balls in the game, which would have given them a drastic advantage over the Colts due to the fact that the game was played on a rainy day in New England. There has been so much attention to this case that it has gotten disgusting, as people really will not stop analyzing and chiming in on the case, but it has created a situation that everyone needs to talk about it. Matt Damon and Ben Affleck decided to get in on the action on Jimmy Kimmel Live, when they did a sketch that portrayed Tom Brady in a good light and they showed their support for the quarterback. Fans like Zeca Oliveira watched as they basically poked fun at the idea that Tom Brady deflated the footballs, but they missed a key element. The question isn’t that Tom Brady deflated the footballs himself, it is that he gave instructions to deflate the balls and there is not a single quarterback from Joe Montana to Troy Aikman that thinks he didn’t give those orders.
