The Achievements and Story of Dr. Jennifer Walden

Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden recently moved her practice of cosmetic surgery from New York City to Austin, Texas. She is a part of and Vice Commissioner of Communications for the Board of Directors for the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Dr. Walden retains membership in the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and American College of Surgeons. She owns her own business, Walden Cosmetic Surgery Center, and has opened a satellite cosmetic surgery clinic recently. She has also operated in institutions like Seton Hospital and Central Park Surgery Center.

 

Her surgical credits began at the University of Texas with her Bachelor in biology. Her externship conducted at the Plastic Surgery Associates in Miami while she received her Medical Doctorate. During this time she received ambitious titles like Best Scientific Exhibit by a Candidate, winner of the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Award and Achievement Citation, and selected for the Mavis P. Kelsey Excellence in Medicine Award and Scholarship. She earned fellowship at the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital and served as the Program Director before returning to Texas. Her remarkable accomplishments derive from character.

 

Dr. Jennifer Walden is a warm and caring person. Her personality is complimented characteristics like strength, assertiveness, and brilliance! The motivation behind her development pinpoints to her supportive family. As being one of five children, achievement and education were highly valued ambitions. The determination bled into her education. The love she had for the artistry of plastic surgery prevented her from being defeated when she was put on the medical school’s waiting list. Her accomplishments proved this. Dr. Walden was one of two accepted candidates for the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital’s program during the year she applied.

 

She lives by the philosophy of desiring to make things happen which she hopes to pass to her twin sons. Inspirationally, she hopes to also motivate young women pursuing careers in medical and business fields. Dr. Walden even offers advice and mentoring to female pre-med students! Her generosity in helping and supporting people is beyond measure. She is a prime example of success.
